Mission Statement

To advocate for and educate all students as they become lifetime learners. Provide an environment whereby they are supported academically and socially and equipped with the skills required to achieve their full potential. Guide them as they become responsible, productive citizens capable of participating and excelling in an ever-changing global society.

Professional school counselors are certified/licensed professionals with a master's degree or higher in school counseling and are uniquely qualified to address the developmental needs of all students. Professional school counselors deliver a comprehensive school counseling program encouraging all students' academic, career and personal/social development and help all students in maximizing student achievement.

To learn more about College Goal Tennessee or for answer to your specific financial aid questions, call the College Goal Tennessee hotline toll-free at 1-800-342-1663. As an added benefit the College Goal Tennessee hotline will be available on January 29, 2012 and February 12, 2012 from 12 (CST) to 5 p.m. (CST) to answer FAFSA questions and provide the most current information about site locations.
UT of Knoxville College of Veterinary Medicine
University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine is currently accepting applications for the 2012 Veterinary Summer Experience Program. The program will take place June 4-July 27, 2012 The program seeks to provide worthwhile opportunities for students interested in veterinary medicine while simultaneously generating a pool of potential veterinary students.

To apply, a student must:

-Be a legal resident of the State of Tennessee and be enrolled in a Tennessee high school
-Be a current high school junior or senior
-Be at least sixteen years of age by June 4, 2012
-Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
-Be available for full time employment (40 hours per week) between June 4-July 27, 2012

All applicants must submit application, an official high school transcript, and three reference letters. Applications must be electronically submitted by 11:59 p.m/. on March 5, 2012. Supplemental materials must be postmarked by March 6, 2012. All applicants will be notified of their status via email on or before April 5, 2012.
